When Mackenzie passed, we were fortunate to have her funeral cost paid for and knew that this was something we wanted to be able to do for others as the cost of a child's funeral is over $10,000 alone. Part of The Mackenzie Blair Foundation's mission is to support the SUDC in raising awareness and support as there is little national funding for this tragedy. We also raise money for graduating seniors in local high schools and provide care packages to families who have suddenly lost a child due to SUDC.
